Hostinger sells four VPS plans: KVM 1 (4 GB RAM), KVM 2 (8 GB), KVM 4 (16 GB) and KVM 8 (32 GB). The cheapest way to buy any of them is the 24-month term: $6.49, $8.99, $12.99 and $25.99 a month. Each then renews at roughly double.
We checked these prices on 13 October 2026. They exclude tax, and the whole term is paid up front.

Every step up doubles the RAM, CPU, storage and bandwidth. The price does not double with it at first: KVM 4 has four times the resources of KVM 1 for twice the intro price. On renewal the gap widens, and KVM 4 renews at $28.99, almost twice KVM 2's $14.99.

The term changes the price more than the plan does
Hostinger sells the VPS on three terms: 1, 12 and 24 months. There is no 48-month term as there is for its web hosting. Here is KVM 2 on each:

Two things stand out. The monthly term is not a flat price: the first month is $13.99 and every month after it is $24.49. And the longer term has the lower renewal as well as the lower intro, so over three years the 24-month term costs less than half the monthly one.
The same pattern holds for the other sizes. Over three years on the 24-month term, KVM 1 costs $299.64, KVM 4 costs $659.64 and KVM 8 costs $1,223.64.
How KVM 2 compares with other 8 GB servers
KVM 2 is the plan most people look at, so here it is against the cheapest 8 GB plan from six other providers we track, ordered by cost over three years with renewals included.

KVM 2 is fifth of the seven. Its intro price is in the middle of the group, but it has 2 vCPUs where the four cheaper plans have 4, and its renewal ($14.99) is higher than anything above it in the table. Contabo's price is for its European data centers.
What Hostinger offers in return is a 30-day money-back guarantee and 24/7 live chat. Contabo, OVHcloud and Hetzner have no refund window in our data, so a prepaid term there is a commitment from day one.
The other sizes against their rivals
- 4 GB. KVM 1 costs $299.64 over three years with 1 vCPU. OVHcloud VPS-1 has 2 vCPUs for $153.22, and Hetzner Cloud CX23 has 2 for $240.90. At this size Hostinger is the expensive option.
- 16 GB. KVM 4 costs $659.64, level with DreamHost VPS Stack 16 ($653.64) and Hetzner Cloud CX43 ($663.17). Hetzner gives 8 vCPUs to Hostinger's 4; Hostinger gives 200 GB of storage to Hetzner's 160 GB.
- 32 GB. KVM 8 costs $1,223.64, the same as DreamHost VPS Stack 32 and close to Hetzner Cloud CX53 ($1,206.09).
So the larger the plan, the better Hostinger compares. KVM 4 and KVM 8 are priced with the market; KVM 1 is not.
Where the servers are
Hostinger lists VPS locations in nine countries: the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Lithuania, India, Indonesia, Brazil and Malaysia. The Netherlands, which Hostinger offers for web hosting, is not on its VPS list, and neither is Singapore.
Indonesia and Malaysia are the useful ones here. Of the 19 providers we track that sell VPS or cloud servers, only four have servers in Indonesia and only four in Malaysia. Hostinger lists one price for all nine countries.
What you get for the money
Each plan comes with NVMe storage, a monthly bandwidth allowance (4 TB on KVM 1 up to 32 TB on KVM 8), DDoS protection and root access. Hostinger's app pages, such as the one for self-hosted n8n, sell these same four plans at the same prices, so there is no separate "n8n VPS" to compare.

The 20% referral discount
New customers who arrive through a referral link get 20% off the first term. On the 24-month term that makes KVM 2 $7.19 a month, or $172.61 up front instead of $215.76. The renewal is not discounted, so the three-year cost becomes $352.49, just under Hetzner Cloud CX33 in the table above.

KVM 2 suits most small projects: 8 GB of RAM runs several WordPress sites, a database and a few containers. Take KVM 1 only for a single light app, since it has 1 vCPU. KVM 4 and KVM 8 are the plans where Hostinger's price matches cheaper-looking rivals.
How much does Hostinger VPS cost after renewal?
On the 24-month term, KVM 1 renews at $11.99 a month, KVM 2 at $14.99, KVM 4 at $28.99 and KVM 8 at $49.99. The 12-month term renews higher: $12.99, $16.99, $30.99 and $53.99.
Can I pay for Hostinger VPS monthly?
