Hostinger's cheapest business email plan, Starter, costs $0.59 per mailbox a month on a 12-month term and renews at $1.59. On a 48-month term it drops to $0.39. Standard is $1.39 and Premium $2.99 on 12 months.

The plans differ by storage: 5 GB, 20 GB or 50 GB for each mailbox. Our data describes the product as per-mailbox business email with webmail, AI tools and anti-spam.
The 24-month term sits between the two: $0.49 for Starter, $1.19 for Standard and $2.49 for Premium. On any prepaid term the renewal price is the same; the monthly plan simply stays at its monthly price.
What you pay over three years
Because the intro price lasts for the whole first term, the term you pick decides most of the bill. Per mailbox, over the first three years:

On the 12-month term most of the three-year cost is renewal: Starter is $7.08 for the first year and $19.08 for each year after. On the 48-month term there is no renewal inside three years at all, but you pay for four years on day one: $18.72 per Starter mailbox, $47.52 for Standard and $95.52 for Premium.
Paying month by month is the expensive way. Starter at $2.99 a month costs $107.64 over three years, more than seven times the 48-month term.
A team of five
Email is bought per person, so multiply. Five Starter mailboxes cost:
- 12-month term: $35.40 for the first year, then $95.40 a year.
- 48-month term: $93.60 up front, which covers four years.
Five Standard mailboxes on the 48-month term are $237.60 up front. That is the plan to look at if 5 GB per person will fill up, which it does quickly with attachments.

Hostinger Starter is second, and only if you take the four-year term. On a 12-month term its three-year cost is $45.24, which puts it behind Namecheap and IONOS.
Two rivals are worth a look for different reasons. OVHcloud Email Starter is billed monthly at the same price with no renewal increase and has three times the storage. DreamHost gives 25 GB per mailbox and also never raises the price, though it costs more.
Email that comes with hosting
If you are buying web hosting from Hostinger anyway, you may not need a separate email plan at first. Its web hosting plans include email: 2 accounts per website on Premium and unlimited accounts per website on Unlimited and Cloud Startup. On every plan it is free for the first year only.

- The price is per mailbox. A plan that looks like cents a month is a real bill for a team of twenty.
- 5 GB is small. Starter suits a mailbox that is cleared regularly. Standard's 20 GB is the safer choice for daily work email.
