Hostinger's web hosting comes in three tiers: Premium at $2.99 a month, Unlimited at $3.99 and Cloud Startup at $7.99, all on the 48-month term. Premium is limited to 3 websites and 20 GB of storage. Unlimited removes the website limit for $1 more. Cloud Startup doubles the storage, CPU cores and traffic allowance for twice the price.
We checked these prices on 13 October 2026. They exclude tax, and the whole term is paid up front.
The three tiers side by side
| Plan | RAM / CPU | Storage | Sized for | Email accounts | 48-month price | Renews at |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Premium | 2 GB / 1 core | 20 GB SSD | 25,000 visits a month | 2 per website | $2.99/mo | $10.99/mo |
| Unlimited | 3 GB / 2 cores | 50 GB NVMe | 100,000 visits a month | Unlimited per website | $3.99/mo | $16.99/mo |
| Cloud Startup | 4 GB / 4 cores | 100 GB NVMe | 200,000 visits a month | Unlimited per website | $7.99/mo | $25.99/mo |
All three include an SSL certificate, backups, a CDN, site migration and a free domain for the first year on terms of 12 months or longer. Email is included too, but only free for the first year on every tier.
The same three plans are sold as WordPress hosting at exactly the same prices, and Unlimited and Cloud Startup are also sold as WooCommerce hosting. The label changes what is pre-installed, not what you pay.
What Unlimited adds over Premium
Three things, for $1 a month more on the 48-month term:
- No 3-website limit. Premium hosts 3 websites. If you have a fourth, you need Unlimited.
- Faster and larger storage. 50 GB on NVMe drives instead of 20 GB on SSD.
- Four times the traffic allowance. Hostinger sizes Premium for about 25,000 visits a month and Unlimited for about 100,000.
Email also changes from 2 accounts per website to unlimited accounts per website.
Over the first term the upgrade is cheap: $48 across four years. The real difference comes at renewal, where Unlimited is $16.99 a month against Premium's $10.99. That is $6.00 a month more, every month, for as long as you stay.
What Cloud Startup adds over Unlimited
Cloud Startup has 4 GB of RAM and 4 CPU cores against Unlimited's 3 GB and 2, twice the storage (100 GB) and twice the traffic allowance (200,000 visits a month). It costs $7.99 a month on 48 months, double Unlimited, and renews at $25.99.
The Cloud Startup sold on the web hosting page costs the same as the Startup plan in Hostinger's separate Cloud Hosting line, which our data lists with staging and a dedicated IP address. Above it sit Cloud Professional ($15.99 a month, renews at $44.99, 200 GB and 300,000 visits) and Cloud Enterprise ($29.99, renews at $64.99, 300 GB and 400,000 visits).
Cloud Startup is still managed hosting. There is no root access, so you cannot install your own server software. If that is what you need, Hostinger's VPS plans start at $6.49 a month.
The term matters as much as the tier
Each plan is sold on 1, 12, 24 and 48 months. The shorter the term, the higher the intro price and the sooner the renewal price arrives. This is what each plan costs over the first three years:
| Plan | 12-month term | 24-month term | 48-month term |
|---|---|---|---|
| Premium | $311.64 | $215.64 | $107.64 |
| Unlimited | $467.64 | $311.64 | $143.64 |
| Cloud Startup | $743.64 | $527.64 | $287.64 |
Premium on a 12-month term ($311.64) costs more over three years than Cloud Startup on a 48-month term ($287.64). Picking the long term saves more than picking the small plan.
The catch is the payment up front: $143.52 for Premium, $191.52 for Unlimited and $383.52 for Cloud Startup on 48 months. Hostinger has a 30-day money-back guarantee, which gives you a month to change your mind. Our Hostinger renewal guide goes through what happens when each term ends.
With the 20% referral discount
New customers who arrive through a referral link get 20% off the first term, on terms of 12 months or longer for web hosting. On the 48-month term that makes:
| Plan | Public price | With the discount | Paid up front |
|---|---|---|---|
| Premium | $2.99/mo | $2.39/mo | $114.82 |
| Unlimited | $3.99/mo | $3.19/mo | $153.22 |
| Cloud Startup | $7.99/mo | $6.39/mo | $306.82 |
Renewal prices stay the same. The Hostinger discount page has every plan and term.
Which plan for which site
- One to three small sites, a blog or a portfolio: Premium. 20 GB and 25,000 visits a month is more than a new site uses, and it has the lowest renewal.
- More than three sites, or one that is growing: Unlimited. The extra $1 a month buys NVMe storage and four times the traffic allowance.
- An online store or a busy site: Cloud Startup. Twice the CPU cores and more RAM matter when pages are built for each visitor, as they are in a shop.
- Anything that needs root access: none of these. Look at a VPS, and read shared hosting vs VPS costs first.
FAQ
What is the difference between Hostinger Premium and Unlimited?
Premium hosts 3 websites on 20 GB of SSD storage and is sized for about 25,000 visits a month. Unlimited has no 3-website limit, 50 GB of NVMe storage and about 100,000 visits a month. On the 48-month term Unlimited costs $3.99 a month against $2.99, and renews at $16.99 against $10.99.
Is Hostinger Cloud Startup worth it?
For a store or a site near 100,000 visits a month, yes: it has 4 CPU cores and 4 GB of RAM for $7.99 a month. For a small site it is twice the price of Unlimited for resources you will not use, and it renews at $25.99 a month.
Is Hostinger WordPress hosting different from web hosting?
Not in price or resources. WordPress Premium, Unlimited and Cloud Startup cost the same as the web hosting plans at every term and on renewal. The WordPress versions come set up for WordPress.
Does Hostinger include email?
Yes, on every web hosting plan: 2 accounts per website on Premium and unlimited accounts per website on the others. It is free for the first year only, so budget for it from year two.
The bottom line
Start with Premium unless you already know you need more than 3 websites; it has the lowest price and the lowest renewal. Move to Unlimited when you outgrow it, and to Cloud Startup for a store. Whichever tier you choose, the 48-month term costs about a third of the 12-month term over three years.
